As of January 14, 2020, Microsoft has ended support to Windows 7. This means that the operating system will no longer receive software and security updates, and Microsoft will no longer be offering technical support for any issues that arise.
Without ongoing security updates, the number of system vulnerabilities will continue to grow, making any outdated device a security risk to your practice. These vulnerabilities also render your system non compliant with privacy laws, which can be a liability when dealing with patient medical data.
We highly recommend that any hardware you still have on Windows 7 be upgraded to Windows 10. Please give our Technical Support team ([email protected]) 72 hours notice, and we will be pleased to have a dedicated Visual-Eyes agent on standby for any hardware migrations or upgrades.
